Expertise is needed to transition smoothly between key moments—such as the first dance, cake cutting, speeches and bouqet throwing. With my technical skill, crowd-reading skills, and deep music knowledge, I understanding what works and what dosen’t work on the dancefloor. I will flow through the genres, years and tempos to make sure Parrents, Grandparents, Children, best friends and drinking buddies are all catered to.

State-of-the-art DJ equipment, a powerful PA system that not only looks smart and professional but offers clear and crisp sound quality – yep, that’s how I roll. Having good lighting is almost as important as having killer tunes, and when used correctly can change the atmosphere of any event. And I’m a big fan of using uplighting, as it can greatly enhance the ambiance of the room and can be customized to match your wedding party colours. On the dancefloor the uplights will sync with the beat of the music. Cool right?

Having a meeting is the first step in personalising your wedding day. Music is the best tool for creating emotion and memories, and it’s vital your music choices echo the style and atmosphere you want to create. We can chat over coffee, and you can tell me all about your plans, and I will listen, offer guidance and answer any questions you might have.

We can meet as often as you like and if distance is a problem, then we can Skype or Zoom. Everything and anything is possible. I’ll be with you from that first email or phone call to the very last dance.

It’s time! The part of the night I love the most. Headphones on, and it's time to rock the dancefloor! Although I like to think on my feet, keep an eye on the crowd and adapt as I go, the truth is a lot of the preparation is done before your wedding day. I will have spent a great deal of time getting all your music ready. Creating folders with your “must play” songs and kicking out your “do not plays”. Then I will practice weaving special moments into the music, such as incorporating your favourite party tracks as well as the songs that mean the most to you. I will also create unique mashups for the dancefloor, tracks that scream fun and take you on a journey – through decades, romantic melodies, one-hit wonders, big beats and those tracks that just blow your hair back!
