About Me

My love of music started early with my dad.

I'd sit in the back of my parents’ car and listen to his favourite songs. He would fill my ears with all kinds of sounds including Soul, Motown, Reggae, Country as well as Classic Rock. Growing up, every moment and every penny I had was spent on music. I was always the kid in the corner at parties digging through records, CDs and cassette tapes.

When I was 19, I moved from Bridlington, England, to Graz, Austria. I began to learn the ropes as a DJ in the legendary American show bar Friday’s. Working night after night, I learned how to read a crowd, take them on a journey and get them dancing. From there I began to develop my own sound, making me the stylebender I am today.

After my roaring twenties, I stopped DJing for a while. I worked in my parents’ business, I studied journalism and martial arts, but music kept calling me back. Eventually, the urge to return to music and DJing was too great to ignore. So, I returned, upped my game, honed my skills and set up my own DJ business. I’ve DJed just about every kind of event there is, thousands of parties, hundreds of weddings – and I’m always excited for the next one.

A true music lover, when I'm not DJing I spend hours carefully curating playlists, practicing my craft, listening to new music and filling my calendar with killer concerts.

I’m also a successful songwriter, winning many song contests, including the UK Songwriting Contest in 2015. You can find songs I wrote here.

Music is present in 90% of our lives, it’s our way to express feelings, share moments, release emotions, and create lasting memories. This is why I started Djing, and it’s why I’ll never stop.

My Style of DJing

Drawing inspiration from a range of genres that include Hip Hop, House, RnB, Pop, Funk, Afrobeats, Dancehall, Disco and Sweet Soul – it’s easy to see why I’m known as the Original Stylebender.

My sets are genre-fluid, carefully thought out and cleverly stitched together. It’s a quick-mixing, crowd-pleasing style that blends the old with the new, protects the vibe of the party at all costs, and makes sure everyone has a great time.

I also enjoy spinning single-genre sets, whether it’s the infectious grooves of House, the swagger, rhythm and creativity of Hip Hop, or the feel-good vibes and freshness of Afrobeats. I also love going Retro and breathing new life into the iconic sounds of the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s. So, the only question is – what’s your jam?
